 Wild Smoked SalmonWe have sourced wild smoked salmon on request for a number of years, we have been very alert to the pressures on this fish and have not sought to publicise that we can obtain this product. However there is a feeling about that fish numbers may be stabilizing and an increase may be around the corner. With this in mind we thought to purchase a few sides, less than a hundred and offer them out at a very reasonable price. When they are sold, they are sold. We have been offered mostly small fish caught mid to late summer (Grilse) yielding smoked sides from 400 to 700gms. They are smoked in a traditional kiln over a weekend and taste just fantastic, not oily a little smokier than our farmed salmon, they just seem to be able to carry a slightly stronger smoke and still retain a wonderful texture in the mouth.W400 About 400gm, whole sides £36.00 We advise you to look at the FAQs page for fuller notes on delivery charges. Please note we cannot accept orders for shipping direct to the USA or Canada due to FDA anti Bio Terrorism regulations; however we have partner organisations in the USA and Canada who are able to offer products that are Scottish. Also in Canada we can offer Irish Organic smoked salmon. We will offer these instead of sending direct from Scotland. Europe, ROW, Channel Islands, Eire are delivered via DHL minimum charge is £25.50(inclusive of 17% fuel surcharge and (17.5%) VAT, if you wish us to send outside the EU, of course there is no VAT) also for up to 2.5kg gross weight. For larger weights please contact us direct so that we can advise the cost of the freight. |
